Meet Jean Ings, Scriptwriter

  1. Jean-Ings-2-1What led you to Quantum5?
I was up late editing a video for one of my classes in my senior year of college, and I sent a photo to my dad Ted Ings (Fixed Ops Roundtable), who then posted it on LinkedIn. The next day, he told me that his friend David O’Brien (one of the Q5 Co-Founders) had reached out and was looking for a screenwriting Intern for his company. Later that week I was interviewed by Ken Herfurth (the other Q5 Co-Founder). Cut to today, and I’ve been with Quantum5 for over a year!

  2. What do you find most interesting about your work at Quantum5?
What interests me most about my work at Quantum5 is how I get to collaborate with such a creative and hardworking team to write and create different types of projects.

  3. What are you passionate about outside of work?
I’m super passionate about storytelling in any medium. I love writing and filmmaking foremost, and I plan to shoot a short film this summer! I also love playing Dungeons and Dragons, and I write and host campaigns with my friends.

  4. Thinking ahead 12 months, what company related things are you most excited about?
I’m very excited to see the non-linear (choose your own adventure) journeys I’ve been writing come to life. Seeing the amazing artwork and design for the content I’ve written is one of the best parts of working at Quantum5.

Jean-Ings-3
