Meet Talita Rodacki, Senior Project Manager for Quantum5 Studio
1. What led you to Quantum5?
Throughout my career I've had the privilege of working with amazingly talented teams and with renowned brands, managing high-volume, cross-platform projects in game development (AAA and indie titles), mobile and web applications, AR, VR, branding, strategy, and marketing campaigns for a variety of industries. These invaluable experiences helped me learn a lot about management & leadership, team dynamics, communication styles and the needs of different teams and disciplines.
Quantum5's vision of revolutionizing the conventional approach to employee training and development sparked my interest, and the company's commitment to welcoming new perspectives and driving growth speaks volumes about the empowering and collaborative culture Q5 cultivates. That kind of supportive culture is exactly where I thrive, and when I was approached with this brand new challenge, to dive into a new (to me) industry and strengthen the Studio's project management processes, spearheading the development of creative and scalable solutions to support the team's growth, it was a natural fit. I'm all about breaking molds and fostering innovation, so the prospect of being part of a team that values this mindset while prioritizing people's growth was very appealing.
2. What do you find most interesting about your work at Quantum5?
I absolutely cherish the collaborative and supportive environment we foster within our team, and how we empower each other towards growth and collective success. It's amazing to see how dynamic and creative my teammates are, and it's magical to witness the innovative solutions and ideas they bring to the table each day. Our Sprint Retro meetings are a testament to this spirit, with our big board of shout-outs highlighting the incredible support and encouragement we give one another. It's inspiring to see how everyone celebrates each other's victories and lifts each other up during challenges. We're all naturally curious beings, and when faced with a problem, we dive in together, analyzing, questioning, brainstorming solutions, and continuously iterating to improve.
3. What are you passionate about outside of work?
I'm a creative at heart. I love storytelling, fantasy, and world building. Outside of work I'm a writer, creating fictional worlds and short stories, and co-creating video game lore and backgrounds for missions and adventures. I also love traveling and experiencing different scenarios and cultures, learning from everyone I meet along the way!
Based in beautiful BC, Canada, I'm often outside riding my bike or hiking (weather allowing!) and in the summertime you can find me at the beach or at one of the gorgeous lakes in the lower mainland. Winters are reserved for manual crafts and it's a time for me to come up with intricate cross-stitch pieces and cozy knit blankets.
I'm a dog mom to two very active Brittany Spaniels who take turns filling my family's world with love, joy and chaos!
4. Thinking ahead 12 months, what company related things are you most excited about?
I'm thrilled to witness the company's growth and the evolution of our characters and content with each new content season. It's like watching a story unfold, and being part of the team that contributes to shaping these narratives is incredibly rewarding.
It's also super exciting to see the groundbreaking tech advancements happening in real time, with initiatives that push boundaries and explore new possibilities to enhance our platform and deliver even more value to our users.
Being part of the team driving the creation and improvement of core processes and best practices for the company is a real highlight for me. There's something incredibly satisfying about building the foundation that supports our growth and success. It's not just about the end result or even where we'll be in the next 12 months; it's about the journey of continuous improvement and refining our methods to ensure we're always delivering the best possible experience for our audience. Every new chapter brings fresh opportunities for creativity and innovation, and I can't wait to see where our journey takes us next.
