Meet Blair King, Vice President, Marketing.

1. What led you to Quantum5?
I grew up in automotive, as my father worked in retail for 40 years. I began working in automotive at age 18, working as an executive assistant at CallRevu during summers while I finished my collegiate career. After graduating, I joined CallRevu full time. I first worked as a transcriber, listening to and transcribing calls going into automotive dealerships. Shortly after, I joined the Quality Control team and then Quality Control supervisor, training call centers around the world and ensuring the data we delivered to dealers was accurate.

After a few years, I wanted to put my passion of marketing to use, and we started a marketing team at CallRevu. I was the Brand Manager for CallRevu, using customer and trend research to create strategies that changed how people perceived the brand. I was involved in all advertising, design and management of all events, ensuring the brand was consistent across advertising and campaigns.

After two years as Brand Manager, I became the Director of Marketing. I would oversee CallRevu’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness. I focused on developing an overall marketing plan, approval and design of campaigns, and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods.

In 2020, I followed my former COO of CallRevu, Tony Gomez, to a new start up, ZipDeal, where I was the Director of Marketing.

In April 2022, I joined Quantum5 as the Vice President of Marketing where I live today, utilizing my experience in training another startup company in automotive. Quantum5 Co-Founder and President, Dave O’Brien, and I had conducted a few marketing materials between CallRevu and Marcom and had built a great relationship. Dave reached out when Quantum5 was ready for a marketing team, and after talking with him about Quantum5’s vision, values, and the way they helped the automotive industry, it was a no-brainer for me to join the team.

2. What do you find most interesting about your work at Quantum5?

What really drew me in to Quantum5 was the way that we help people. I have always had a passion for helping others, no matter their title or position. Knowing that we can make a difference in a person’s everyday life is something that I love to work on with my team at Q5.

3. What are you passionate about outside of work?

Outside of work, I have an array of passions. Interior design is what I truly love doing and with purchasing my first home 1.5 years ago, I’ve been able to keep busy with DIY projects.

I create resin art – utilizing dried flowers, colors, letters, and more to make customized wedding coasters, charcuterie boards, tables, and lots of other items.

I love going to local live music shows. My brother is a musician, so my family and friends often get together to attend his gigs.

Another passion of mine is sports. Growing up, I was an athlete of many sports and pursued lacrosse through my collegiate career at the University of Delaware (go Blue Hens!). While many knee injuries inhibit me from playing the game any further, I still enjoying watching and attending games, and playing catch as much as I can. I have recently taken up Pickleball, which has brought back that competitiveness and passion for playing sports I’ve been missing for a while.

4. Thinking ahead 12 months, what company related things are you most excited about?

I continually get excited for what’s to come for Quantum5. I’ve been with the company since April 2022, and in this first year, it’s remarkable to see what the right people can do in the right seats to build a company that helps others. I cannot wait to see the further advancements in technology that we are providing our clients.
