One of our biggest assets at Quantum5 is our team. Meet Mairi Olvera, VP of People Development
1. What led you to Quantum5?
Unlike many of my teammates, I do not have an automotive background so joining Quantum5 has been a great education for me. That said, I have been fortunate enough to have been in a variety of types of industries: Financial Services, Charitable non-profit, BPO, and Technology. My most recent roles have focused on learning and development and people operations. After learning about our co-founders' vision for the company, how they wanted to support our internal culture and support our clients by building a culture of learning, it was clear to me that I wanted to be part of that vision.
2. What do you find most interesting about your work at Quantum5?
The people and culture that we have created and continue to work on together. As a primarily remote company, we know it is important to work together to focus on communication and our values. I get to work with incredibly talented people every day that teach me new things and ways to be better in my role.
3. What are you passionate about outside of work?
I have a great circle of friends and family and enjoy spending time with them. I love to practice yoga, hiking and traveling. This year, I will be focused on home projects to make my new house a home.
4. Thinking ahead 12 months, what company related things are you most excited about?
Having been with the company almost 2.5 years, the next 12 months are (and have been) all about growth. It is so exciting to see the vision of our organization come to life. It is a journey that I am excited and grateful to be part of every day!
